Imagine a space where your Elementary child can learn confidence, kindness, and empathy. Imagine a space where your child can feel that learning is exciting, and enjoys the process of problem solving, analyzing problems, and making guesses without fear of getting the answers wrong; they are simply enjoying the process of learning.
In our Elementary I (ages 6 to 9) and Elementary II (ages 9-12) program, the children are given freedom to move around, repeat tasks, given time to practice skills, and use critical thinking skills. Each child has an individual plan, while being able to be independent and learn based on what he/she is interested in. With a large age span, our Elementary I and II program gives the children a sense of community.
In our before and after school program, the children will often engage in individual or collaborative work including but not limited to Homework from school, and STEAM activities provided by Growing Montessori Preschool.
During our Summer Program, the Elementary children will enjoy different themes, in-house field trips, and opportunities to be involved in extra-curricular activities.
